Gucci 100 Shanghai

Inside Plaza 66 on West Nanjing Road, Gucci 100’s Shanghai edition reads like a miniature Bund promenade rendered in light. A 19 × 10 m porcelain-white platform floats 20 cm above the marble concourse, its perimeter traced by 3 m-tall LED arches that echo the mall’s barrel-vault skylights and Shanghai’s Art-Deco colonnades. At its heart sits an emerald-lacquer showcase sculpted in a sinuous, Huangpu-river silhouette—logo up-lit in dimmable 5 000 K white. Four corner pavilions (cash desk, twin fitting rooms and curated vignette) rise to 3 m with Florentine-green pilasters, rouge velvet drapes and brass grille medallions, referencing both Gucci heritage and the jade-and-vermillion palettes of nearby Jing’an Temple. Between them, brass garment racks and brocade armchairs invite tactile pauses, while a wheel-face neon clock nods to the famous Customs-House tower across the river. All components ride on a plug-and-play steel-bruss deck and UV-printed panels, enabling overnight build-out with zero impact on the mall slab—proof that Shanghai speed and Italian craft can dance in perfect sync.
