Gucci Shenzhen Mixcity

Inside Shenzhen’s MixC luxury mall, the Gucci 100 pop-up translates the city’s tech-driven pulse into a luminous, 10 × 10 m fashion laboratory. A snow-white raised deck is wrapped by a square of 5 000 K LED archways that flicker like circuit paths, framing an open plan whose centre is occupied by a heritage-green showcase island embossed with a gilded interlocking-G crest. Two lacquer-and-oak display tables flank the island, while brass garment racks curve like data streams along the perimeter. In each corner, freestanding modules—cash desk, fitting rooms and product vignettes—rise to 2.9 m, their Flemish-green pilasters and rouge velvet reveals nodding to Gucci’s Florentine roots. Between them, mirrors in ebonised frames and brocade armchairs invite experimentation under the subtle glow of Shenzhen’s LED skyline. Entirely modular, the steel-bruss under-deck, UV-printed panels and plug-and-play lighting pack into a single truck for overnight installation, ensuring the pop-up can migrate as swiftly as the city’s next unicorn launch.
