Gucci 100 HongKong

In the heart of Hong Kong’s luxury quarter, the Gucci 100 pop-up unfolds as a glowing pavilion that riffs on the city’s famous neon nights. A pristine white platform, lifted 100 mm above grade, is traced by a wire-frame of 5 000 K LED tubes that sketch arches, vaults and portals in pure light—suggesting architecture without enclosing it. At centre stage stands an oversized, heritage-green display cabinet with lacquer-red reveals, crowned by a gilded interlocking-G crest. Brass garment racks and carved ebonised mirrors flank the cabinet, while an oval timber table and brocade armchairs create an intimate try-on lounge. The restrained 6 × 6 m plan leaves generous negative space, allowing Hong Kong’s bustle to flow through the installation like a street market stall reimagined in couture marble. All elements mount to a lightweight steel deck for overnight assembly, ensuring zero impact on the mall slab. By evening, the luminous outline dissolves the boundaries between fashion set-piece and the city’s electric skyline.
