Chen Xiang Gui Beef Noodles embraces a bright, timber-clad architecture that feels equal parts noodle bar and contemporary tea-house. The façade is a statement in pale oak fins: back-lit Chinese characters float above full-height glazing, while a two-storey yellow billboard anchors the brand from afar. Inside, every element is built as a prefabricated “kit”—ash-veneer bench modules, terrazzo flooring panels and laminated maple bulkheads were shop-finished, craned in, then bolted to a concealed steel sub-frame to shorten the fit-out to three weeks. Dining furniture follows the same logic: marble-pattern quartz tops drop into solid-beech frames; low stools in matching timber use colour-coded cushions to zone tables for two, four or six. A 12-metre open cookline, protected by low-iron glass, features factory-welded stainless counters, integrated refrigeration drawers and a continuous quartz pass that doubles as a sneeze guard. Above, a recessed tray ceiling with cove LEDs and 80 energy-saving downlights washes the room in a warm, peach-toned glow without exposing ductwork or conduits.
